I’m plus size and used to hate crop tops but now love showing off my beautiful belly

ARIELLA Nyssa never used to wear crop tops, feeling too insecure about her body, but now she is embracing her curves and wants others to do the same.

The body positive influencer from Sydney, has a whopping 749K followers on Instagram and has published the self-help book Ariella Nyssa's Self-love Bible, however she says that she wasn’t always as confident as she is now.

Posting a picture to , the influencer wears a green crop top with a matching low waist mini skirt.

She writes: “Even a year ago I would have never felt confident enough to rock a low waist outfit. And now it’s my favourite thing to wear.

“I love showing off my beautiful belly, my hips and curves. It’s crazy that something I once tried to hide, now I see as one of the most beautiful things about me.”

Finishing with a message to her followers she adds, “Your belly is BOOOOTIFUL.”

The photo has received over 9,000 likes and people are loving Ariella’s confidence and message, with many praising her for promoting a realistic image of women’s bodies.

“I was trying on bikinis yesterday that fit me last summer but are a little too small now, but thanks to you all I thought was I’m still beautiful, I just need new bikinis. Thank you Ariella” wrote one appreciative follower.

A second added: “Got called the ‘f’ word multiple times today so seeing this makes me feel better. Wish I would stop getting all worked up over hurtful comments and start being more confident like you....”

The body positivity activist regularly posts encouraging messages to her followers, showing the things that many influencers try to hide.
