In a recent video on her Do It On a Dime is a YouTube channel, Kathryn spotlights .

The first items she shows her followers are organizational bins with clear lids that flip shut without coming off.

Her upgrade for the organizational bins is adding decal labels she ordered from Etsy to the front of each bin with the help of an iron.

The second two items she purchased from Dollar Tree can be combined with each other for an impressive final result.

She shows off small plastic garden fences in black and white, and a pretty outdoor wreath.

The upgrade she makes for these items is zip-tying two plastic garden fences together before attaching the wreath to the front.

The next items Kathryn shows her followers are the Dollar Tree suction cups available in the color white.

Her way of making the suction cups look more expensive is using them to hang planters filled with flowers on windows or glass doors.

The following items she brings to viewers' attention are the wood crates and slats available at Dollar Tree.

She customizes the wood pieces by painting them dark blue and gluing them together in a shelf formation for teabag storage.

Another item Kathryn talks about is the patterned fabrics for sale at the store.

The fabrics get a nice boost when she hot glues the edges together, turns the material inside-out, and adds fluff from old pillows to create new pillows.

Finally, she shows her followers small carpet squares with fringe.

To make them look more expensive, she modifies them to serve as organizing baskets that are perfect for holding towels and plants.

Kathryn's video is filled with several other items and upgrades.

The people in her comment section seem to really love her creativity and ideas.
