I’m a cleaning whizz and my 65p trick unblocks clogged drains in minutes
CLOGGED drains can be really annoying.
There's few things worse than looking forward to a steamy shower only to discover that your shower drain is blocked with clumps of hair.
If you don't want to spend a fortune on pricey chemical drain unblockers then you might not know what else to use.
Often, people suggest using white vinegar and baking soda, but for one keen cleaner that didn't do the trick either.
She wrote on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips group on Facebook: "What’s the best way to unblock plugholes?
"I’ve noticed water is going really slow down now, I’ve tried white vinegar and baking soda.

“I don’t want to use harsh chemicals either.”
Blockages can be caused by different things depending on where they are in the home.
While they're more likely to be caused by oil and food in the kitchen, hair and shampoo are the main causes in the bathroom.
Other keen cleaners were quick to help with drain cleaning advice.

One user wrote: "Use soda crystals. Pack them in and then 10 minutes later pour boiling water over them.”
Another said: “Use soda crystals and boiling water.”
A third expalined: "Soda crystals are the most natural method I’ve found."
"They’re only 60p in Asda for a big bag but the trick of putting them down the drain works every time," the cleaning fan added.
The cleaning hack works especially well because soda crystals can prevent future blockages from forming in drains.

Just use one cup, or roughly 168g, of soda crystals, putting them down the blocked drain and leaving for 10 minutes.
Then pour boiling water down the drain to clear them away.
