Queen, 96, ‘finally meets Lilibet’ as monarch’s namesake great-granddaughter turns 1 tomorrow on Jubilee weekend
THE Queen is believed to have finally met her great-granddaughter Lilibet.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly introduced the youngster, who turns one tomorrow, to the monarch at Windsor Castle yesterday.
Royal commentator , author of Finding Freedom, said it would have been the first time who was born in last year.
He told Breakfast: "Of course we know went back to Windsor Castle yesterday, the couple went back to Windsor as well where they're staying at Frogmore Cottage.
"So that would have been the first moment or the first chance for her to meet her namesake."
He added that people shouldn't expect "some sort of big birthday extravagant event" for the soon-to-be one-year-old's celebrations - nor should they anticipate any photos.

"From what I'm told, we shouldn't expect anything," he said.
"Those moments with Lilibet are very much private between them and the Queen and of course we know how much she's been looking forward to it.
"They've been held back by a pandemic. And so this really was the first time."
Buckingham Palace refused to comment.

Omid later revealed the Sussexes had two priorities for their trip to Britain - "honouring the life and legacy of the Queen and introducing her to their daughter".
Now both are understood to be ticked off, there is still plenty of time for Archie and Lilibet to spend time with the Cambridge kids, he said.
Omid told : "Of course there will be a number of private moments
"No news yet on meeting the other family members, the cousins, but I'd say there are still opportunities over the days ahead.
"Everyone has really put all difficulties to one side to make sure all the focus remains on the Queen and that the environment that they're all in is really positive."
Archie was only a baby when he last saw his cousins, and Lilibet has never met George, Charlotte or Louis.

A "nervous" Meghan and Harry appeared publicly alongside William and Kate for the first time since Megxit today.
The Sussexes joined other royals at a special service of thanksgiving to mark the Queen's momentous 70-year reign from 11am.
The monarch herself will was not in attendance after experiencing "discomfort" during yesterday's festivities.
But most other members of the Firm - minus Andrew who has Covid - gathered at St Paul's Cathedral in London for the occasion on day two of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Despite being welcomed back into the royal fold at Trooping the Colour yesterday, Meg, 40, and Harry, 37, were said to be anxious about this morning's public reunion.
A source told they were "perhaps understandably nervous" about coming face to face with those they had slated in an interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
And the pressure was doubled by the fact it was their first outing together with the entire family since they quit the Firm in 2020.
Omid said the couple hoped to be as "low-profile as possible" during their visit to the UK.
And that showed yesterday when they made a concerted effort not to be seen before the RAF flypast.
