OWLY MATRIMONY

Shamers in hysterics at groom’s chosen wedding outfit and people think the bride ‘dragged him there on his release date’

PEOPLE were both amused and horrified at a groom's choice of attire for his own wedding.

Many were even shocked she would decide to marry him after all.

In a Facebook group dubbed That's It, I'm Wedding Shaming – famous for making fun of people's nuptial decisions – one woman shared an image she discovered of two newlyweds.

In the pic, the bride rocked a stunning white gown with a lace skirt.

She held on to a bouquet of flowers and her hair was curled as she posed with her beloved.

On the other hand, the groom wore a blue top with 3/4 sleeves and a corsage pinned to it.

He completed the look with baggy white pants that had an owl sketched over one leg and black shoes.

His choice in the outfit had users in stitches, many wondering what had driven him to dress like that.

The poster wrote: "Not sure if this dude knew he was getting married this day."

In the comment section, others agreed with one woman comparing his outfit to a prison uniform: "She dragged him there on his release date. Didn't even let him get changed."

A second expressed: "Oh my god and her dress is so pretty, he doesn't deserve her."

"Don't men get told what to wear to their weddings anymore?" a third wrote.

Others agreed that they would actually leave on the spot if this happened to them.

"If I came down the aisle and my groom was dressed like that, I’d turn around and go back up the aisle," one Facebook user wrote.

"Like this is your wedding, sir, try just a bit."

Some even demanded they get a divorce right then and there.

Despite it all, we hope that bride has been able to forgive him for his style decisions and they are happily married.
