THIS is the adorable moment Princess Charlotte playfully calms her little brother as he enthusiastically waves to enormous crowds watching Trooping the Colour.
The royal youngster, seven, placed her hand over four-year-old Louis' while they beamed outside Buckingham Palace and Horse Guards Parade for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee procession.
Louis sat between his sister and older brother George, eight, for their first carriage procession as celebrations marking the monarch's 70-year reign began.
The children, dressed in a light blue, navy and white colour scheme, raised their hands to royal supporters who have been lining the streets from the early hours.
At one point Charlotte, wearing a cornflour blue dress, pushed Louis' arm down while he waved frantically.
The princess also squinted in the sunshine as she looked out on the vast numbers who had gathered to see them.

Cheers erupted from thousands of spectators on The Mall as they caught sight of the trio sitting opposite Kate Middleton and Camilla.
The kids later bowed their heads when the national anthem was played on their arrival into Horse Guards Parade.
George was dressed in a navy suit, white shirt and blue tie for the occasion, while Louis wore a sailor-style white and navy top echoing an outfit worn by his father at the 1985 Trooping event.
Charlotte's hair was worn down with two fine plaits fastened with a blue ribbon.

The traditional carriage procession left Buckingham Palace ahead of the Birthday Parade that marked the start of four days of festivities.
Travelling behind the Cambridges in the Barouche was the Earl and Countess of Wessex with Lady Louise Windsor and the Viscount Severn.
