NO TO THE DRESS

‘Tacky’ wedding guest slated for outrageous outfit & people say ‘the only thing missing is the veil’

UPSTAGING the bride has taken on a whole new meaning.

A wedding guest has been highly criticized for showing up to a wedding in a garb completely reminiscent of a wedding dress.

The gown in question was a floor-length white, lace gown, with a plunging neckline and split up the side.

It was paired with a sparkly clutch and silver jewelry by the daring woman.

Social media users have deemed the gown as 'tacky', some even going as far as saying they would have thrown red wine on it.

People also felt that it was a completely disrespectful move on the wedding guest's part.

Taking to social media, several people voiced their opinions on the distasteful move.

One user wrote: “Hopefully the bride was a knockout and everyone noticed how bad this lady looked in comparison.”

“This is just straight up a wedding dress, no one wears a dress like that except a bride and that’s what makes it truly cringe," said another.

“Forget being clumsy, I would’ve walked straight over to her and thrown two glasses of red wine right over the dress," added a third.

“Every person at that wedding would have talked or laughed about her either behind her back or to her face."

“She’s only missing the veil.”

A final person reasoned: “Honestly it’s not just the color, it’s the entire style. If someone wore a plain white cocktail dress that might be a mild faux pas but not worthy of ridicule."
