crafted a recipe to make perfect dupes of the breadsticks at home.

The ingredients include active dry yeast, flour, butter, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and oregano.

She specifies both salted or unsalted butter will work, as well as unbleached all-purpose flour or bread flour.

If you're wary about making bread from scratch for the first time, Wilkes says you can use frozen bread dough instead.

Sprinkle the yeast over the top of warm water in a bowl and wait a few moments until it gets foamy.

Combine the sugar, butter, salt, and flour in a large bowl. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead until the dough is sticky.

This step can also be done by using a standing mixture with the hook attachment.

Add more flour and keep mixing until a soft smooth dough forms.

Divide the dough and roll out the portions into breadsticks. Wilkes says they should be 7 inches long to mimic Olive Garden's serving size.

Let them rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes then mix together melted butter, garlic powder, and oregano for the topping.

Brush each breadstick with the mixture and bake them in a 400-degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Once they're done, brush on the remaining butter mixture and enjoy!

This recipe will yield about 16 breadsticks, so consider halving it or setting aside some dough and freezing it for later.

You can also make a sweet version of these by brushing them with butter and then sprinkling a cinnamon-sugar mixture on top when they're out of the oven.

This seems like a lot of work but it's nothing compared to how it's done in Olive Garden kitchens.

An employee, known only as EricZona, shared the “secret” on Reddit, sending fans wild.

They estimated the kitchen makes about 2,000 breadsticks every night.

They also claimed the secret to the signature recipe is liquid margarine and garlic salt.

Fans have found a way to personalize meals using the restaurant's "secret menu."

Customers can mix and match their samplers so they can add extra portions of their favorite foods.

In a scenario where you have three options but only like two, you could decide to get an extra portion of the food you like.

All you have to do is ask your server and they are likely to accommodate your needs.

Customers can also ask for extra sauce if they want a bit of extra flavor to their pasta entrée for instance.

It's perfect for those who have finished their pasta dish but want to mop up the remaining sauce with the garlic bread that they ordered.

Diners are warned that it could come at an extra cost but if it brings a little bit of additional flavor, then it's worth the risk.
