WITH food prices sky-rocketing to new levels, many households are looking for ways to save money - and this is where coupons come in handy.

But for some, their obsession with cutting costs has become so extreme, they will spend several hours looking for the best deal - and Missy, from the US, is no exception.

''I'm still the coupon queen of central Florida,'' said the 38-year-old homemaker.

''I'm on a mission, so until I get these coupons used [...], I've got a task and I gotta get it done.''

In fact, her obsession with a good deal has become so severe, Missy said she spends up to 40 hours a week couponing.

''It is a full-time job.''

After her last appearance on , Missy and her friend, also an avid money-saver, became local celebrities.

''Since I was last on the show, I've even had my groceries held hostage until I autographed my receipt.''

Now, the 38-year-old can boast of a huge stockpile room where she keeps all of her goods worth around £80,000.

Amongst these are 600 packets of dishwashing tablets which will last her for over five years.

As well as these, Missy has accumulated 60 bottles of stain remover, 72 cake mixes, a hundred boxes of cereal, a pasta tower ten crates high, a whopping 10,000 bottles of flavoured water and 200 cans of iced coffee.

She can drink a bottle every day for 27 years.

Maintaining such an impressive collection, means Missy needs to collect at least 5,000 coupon flyers a week - and to keep everything organised, she's also made a dedicated coupon closet.

But appearing on the show, Missy revealed that the food is not just for her - some of it she will donate to a charity helping young adolescents struggling with issues such as teenage pregnancy.

''I was a teen mum myself. I was very fortunate to have the support and love and the backing of my mum and dad.

''There are so many who don't have that.''

During the shopping trip, she grabbed hundreds of toothbrushes - free of cost -, stacks of paper towel, dental floss, coffee and other must-have daily items.

''This buggy is going to touch 600 separate lives. It's amazing.''

What would've cost the mum more than $960 (£762), the coupons brought it down to just £23.

Stunned by the huge shopping trip, viewers took it to comments to share their thoughts.

''I love the fact that instead of keeping everything in her stock pile they donated it to charity,'' wrote one fan.
