, Cee Rainey, 45, revealed how she yearned to be a mum for years.
The New Zealander took a massive risk when she reached out to her ex from over 20 years ago to ask if he remembered a promise he'd made.
Cece said: "How do you ask a man you haven’t seen for almost 20 years to be your sperm donor?"
She explained that she met her ex when she was just 21 and was living in London when she first met her her-ex, Damien.

"For two years, we were incredibly happy. But our plans for the future were pulling us apart.
"I was a Kiwi, and my time in London wasn’t supposed to be forever," Cece explained.
The couple stayed close after breaking up, Damien even accompanied Cece to the hospital when she wanted to find out what was causing her painful periods.
"A scan showed I had endometriosis, the build-up of scar tissue meant it might be impossible for me to have a baby," she said.
She revealed that Damien comforted her through the ordeal and even offered to help her become a mum, despite their relationship ending.
"I kept those words in my heart as I boarded the plane a few weeks later.
"And as the years passed, Damien was never far from my thoughts," Cece confessed.
Both Damien and Cece eventually married other people, with Damien having kids of his own.
But Cece's marriage fell apart by 2015, and found herself single and almost 40, with no prospects of having a baby.
Desperate to make her dream of becoming a mother come true, she knew it was "now or never," and began to research sperm banks before realising how expensive they were.
She then remembered the promise that Damien had made her years earlier, and decided to reach out to see if he really meant it.
She messaged him saying, "I’m reaching out to you on the slim chance you might remember a promise you made to me many years ago.
"I know you’re a father of three and I wondered if you wanted one more?"
As the years passed, Damien was never far from my thoughts.
After chatting on the phone for a while, catching up on the twists and turns of their lives, Damien said that he was also single again and that he would help her on her quest to have a bay.
"Of course, I’ll do it. Because it’s you," he told Cece.
Not only that but Damien announced, "Cee, I’m going to spend the next nine months persuading you to fall in love with me again!"
The pair eventually met up and realised that their feelings were as strong as they had been 20 years prior.
After successful IVF treatment the duo moved in together when Cece was 12 weeks pregnant.
Just one month later, Damien proposed.
Cece said: "'I can’t believe it', I thought giddily.
"My sperm donor is going to become my husband!
"Our beautiful daughter Aoife was born in July, 2018 and my heart burst with love."
