The 2p trick to easily fix your solar panel garden lights just in time for summer
IF YOU'RE getting your garden prepped like many others for summer, then you may be thinking of getting new solar-powered lights.
But before you do, one simple tip might save you some cash.
Posting to the Facebook group , one man shared how to get your solar-powered lights working again.
The simple trick is so easy and you only need one item to do it, which you probably already have in your house.
Stëvë Bonner, who lives in the UK, demonstrated in a video how to get your solar panel lights back up and running.
He showed a picture of his lights, which had a white cast over the panel, preventing any sunlight from directly hitting and lighting up the lights.

Instead of going out and buying a new set, Steve recommended: "If your solar panel has gone white, just use a bit of nail polish remover.
"It'll come up like new and your lights will shine bright again."
Using a cotton wool round with nail polish remover, the white cast instantly disappeared, allowing the sun to hit the panel.
The post was liked by hundreds of people, and many commented on how well it worked.
