A SAVVY decorator showed off the results of his budget renovation, transforming his mum's shabby council house into a stunning sanctuary.
Nick Richards showed fans how he revamped the kitchen, living room and bathroom in the house.
Using clever techniques and discount buys he managed to pull off the whole project at a bargain price.
Nick said: "I really love our kitchen we gave it make over in January 2021.
"We had really dark walnut cabinets, we had really dark speckled worktops. We had cream tiles and we had cream walls.

"It was really brown, it was really cream, it just looked really old fashioned. So we transformed it to a really light, modern space."
They spent just £200 on vinyl and paint to spruce up the kitchen space.
Next up Nick showed off the chic dining area.

He said: "We did our dining room December just gone, just before Christmas and we completely changed the space.
"Before our dining room was really dull and again on a £200 budget we completely transformed the room and it brings me so much joy.
"The main focal point of the dining room is of course the table.
"This table only cost us £30. We picked up these black table legs from Ikea for £20 then we used our old dining table.
"We made it a slightly bigger table with some scrap wood and then we covered it with the DC fix we used on our kitchen worktop."
He also revealed that they spent just £5 on each of the chairs, buying them in a charity shop.
And the ingenuity didn't stop there, as he created art work for absolutely nothing.
Nick said: "All these frames are from Ikea and the prints were all free because they were wallpaper samples.
"It's such a nice alternative to spending money on new prints."
They also spruced up their wet room, although they were limited with what they could do.
Nick said: "The council built this wet room for us around six years ago and it's probably my least favourite room in the house just because we can't really do anything to how the room looks.
"We can't do anything to the floor, we can't do anything to the tiles."
They painted the blue walls white, sprayed the chrome fittings black, and used white tile stickers over the blue tiles.
Nick did confess that the water and steam had started to peel away the tile stickers.
The whole room cost £120 to revamp.
