IF YOU are a fan of celebrations, your birthday is without doubt, one of the biggest days of the year.
But some may say, there’s nothing worse than having to share your big day with someone else.
So, you might be able to understand a 16-year-old’s frustration after learning she would soon have to share her big day with her baby niece or nephew.
But this isn’t just a coincidence, this comes after her sister "chose" to be induced on her birthday.
The 16-year-old was really upset with her sister’s decision and lashed out at her, saying that she shouldn’t have to share her big day.
This caused a bit of tension between the sisters and now other family members are involved.
The 16-year-old took to to explain the situation.
She said: “Me (16) and my sister (25) weren’t super close growing up.

“She didn’t really like the idea of sharing her spotlight which is respectable honestly cause look where are at right now.
“Anyways with all that being said my sister found out she was pregnant a couple months ago and nothing has really changed.
“My parents are all over her as they usually are, and I've been put into her shadow once again.
“I wasn’t upset over that until yesterday when she announced that she had set her induction date and it was going to be March 1st which just so happens to be my birthday.
“I don’t know if it’s just the immature teenager in me but I was very angry.”

The teenager revealed that due to anger she frustratedly lashed out at her sister, but unfortunately it’s caused some tension in the family.
She continued: “I asked her why she had to choose my birthday, and she said that it didn’t matter and I should be happy to share my day.
“I yelled at her about how terrible of a sister she was and that her baby means nothing to me.
“She started crying and my mom called me ungrateful.
“It’s been a few days and my whole family other than my brother (who is on my side) is ignoring me.
“I feel like an a*s because maybe she thought it was going to be some sort of bonding experience but also she never asked me if I was okay with it first.”
The 16-year-old’s Reddit post has racked up over 2,000 views and almost 850 comments, but it’s left Reddit users divided over who is in the wrong.
One person commented: “That's kind of shi**y for her to pick your bday.”
Another added: "What are you supposed to be grateful for? That she's going to make your birthday about her? Hopefully the induction is late enough in the day that the baby is born on the 2nd. Also, don't babysit."
However, one Reddit user questioned: "Are you sure that she set her induction date? I have been induced before and you don't generally get any choice," to which the teen responded: "She said she chose it. She was allowed to choose between my birthday and a couple days before that."
Another said: "Why on earth would you think you should be consulted? I mean, apart from you being the centre of the universe?"
Someone else stated: “I would expect a 16 year old to know better.”
For other real life stories, I pointed out that my girlfriend’s niece’s name is spelt wrong and now everyone is fuming at me.

If that wasn't enough, I hate my four-year-old’s name because it reminds me of my ex…my son cries about it & begs me to change it.
