Target employee reveals dark secret about the Starbucks in their stores

THE STARBUCKS at Target might not be considered an actual Starbucks, according to an employee.

Yes, you heard that right.

named Katherine revealed that the Starbucks you find at your local Target isn't technically part of the franchise.

Those Starbucks stores inside Target are actually managed by Target, not the coffee establishment.

She also added: “If they transferred to Starbucks, they would have to be re-trained, or trained.

this when, back in May 2018, Starbucks was forced to close in order to have a conversation and learning session on race and bias with their employees.

Target Corporate confirmed that their Starbucks wouldn't be closing because they are, indeed, run by Target themselves.

Coffee theories aside, you may have wondered the purpose of the gigantic red balls outside of Target.

Are they rest spots, or simply an aesthetically pleasing addition for the eyes?

It turns out they are actually safety measures.

An iconic symbol, the famed balls are actually there to stop cars from potentially crashing into the stores and harming employees and customers in the process.

Despite its goal for loss prevention, the red balls are not always met with high praise by customers.

In fact, in 2015, a mother from New Jersey filed a lawsuit against Target. This came after her 5-year-old son was seriously injured after a fall from the red ball and had to undergo arm surgery as a result.
