I used to HATE getting out of bed but I’ve transformed myself into a morning person by changing 5 things – it’s SO easy
WHILE some people enjoy being up and running by sunrise, others might have a harder time.
Fortunately for those night owls out there, a lifestyle blogger has shared the fives tips that can help you become a morning person.
The founder of , Shelby Vanhoy, revealed in her blog how she managed to become that coveted morning person:
SCHEDULE THE FIRST 30 MINUTES FOR YOU
Before going to bed, set aside some time to do something that will help you get out of bed the next morning.
During these 30 minutes, you can make a cup of coffee, respond to an email, or even just lay in bed and relax.
Instead of having to jump straight out of bed to get ready, you'll have this extra time to start your day.
After all, nobody that is rushed is ever in a good mood.
LAYING OUT YOUR WORKOUT CLOTHES
As hard as it is to wake up for work, some find it nearly impossible to get up for a morning workout.

For this reason, Shelby advises laying your clothes out for a better chance of you getting that workout in.
She guaranteed: "I definitely know this makes or breaks my chances of morning workouts."
HAVE BREAKFAST
Instead of getting up and rushing through making breakfast, aim to have it prepared the night before.
"When I wake up, cooking breakfast is one less to-do. And I can use that time for something else!
"It has saved me a lot of time, honestly," she explained.
GIVE YOUR ALARM CLOCK A MAKEOVER
A good alarm sound is key. But you'll want to choose a positive sound that will get you up and going.
And as far as placement of your alarm, the lifestyle blogger suggested setting it up somewhere where it'll force you to get up.
That way, once you're standing up trying to turn off your alarm, the hard part of physically getting out from under the covers will have already been done.
TURN OFF ALL TECH
Turning off all technology in the home will lead you to do nothing else but hit the hay.
Shelby explained: "For me, I’ve been turning off my computer by 9:30 pm so that hopefully I can be tired enough to go to bed by 10:30 pm or 11:00 pm.
"This way I have enough sleep to wake up at 6:30 am."
Fellow blog subscribers admitted these couple of tips could be a game-changer.
One wrote: "I love this! I am definitely not a morning person but try to be!!"
Another admitted the technology tip would definitely help her case: "I need to be better about no technology before bed!"
MORE HACKS
And while light prepping is highly recommended to save time in the morning, a teacher shared how she saved even more time by applying her makeup and curling her hair the night before.
The woman revealed she despises jumping out of bed in the morning so this way she's ready as soon as she wakes up.
In the video she shared, she first showed off tying her hair back into a ponytail and curling the ends.
Then continued with her makeup.
