People are selling the ‘last Chicken Big Macs’ on eBay after McDonald’s sells out – and you won’t believe the price
SOME McDonald’s fans were left disappointed after the chain revealed that it had removed the new Chicken Big Mac from the menu after selling out nationwide.
However, those who missed out on the sought-after burger have got a second chance to get their hands on one - if they’re willing to pay the price.
Savvy eBay sellers are cashing in on the sell-out sandwich by flogging the ‘last Chicken Big Macs’ on the auction site.
Despite the fresh ingredients, one seller has listed the sell out sandwich with a starting bid of 99p with the description as ‘The last Chicken Big Mac.’
But it’s not just the sandwich that’s up for grabs, with other sellers charging three figure sums just for the packing.
One seller has the double decker burger box priced at £100 as the starting bid on the site.
The fast food chain launched the new burger just days ago - and now it's had to be removed from the menu due to high demand.
McDonald's took to Twitter to , saying that the burger is "sold out almost everywhere" after launching in stores on February 1.

However, it announced that the snack would be "back soon".
It tweeted: "Your love for the limited edition Chicken Big Mac knew no bounds and its sold out almost everywhere.
"Thank you for lovin' it even more than we thought you would, it'll be back soon."
A McDonald's spokesperson said that it will return in a "few weeks" and that it "simply cannot keep up" with demand.
The Chicken Big Mac is a copycat of the original Big Mac but replaces beef patties with chicken burgers.
That means it has the triple layer bun, two crispy chicken patties and, of course, all the other bits that create the legendary burger - cheese, lettuce, pickles, and the secret Big Mac sauce.
