My boyfriend proposed with a surprise tattoo – I said yes but then saw the second part of the inking and was furious
HAVE you ever pulled a prank - only for it not to be quite as funny as you first anticipated?
That's the scenario Chris, from the UK, found himself in when he popped the question to his girlfriend Emily on a cringeworthy episode of MTV's Just Tattoo Of Us.

On the show, presented by Charlotte Crosby, a worried Emily could be seen wearing goggles ready for the big reveal - and admitted she was "off the scale nervous" for what was in store for her.
Much to her horror, that fear was only heightened when she was informed the unique inking would be revealed in two parts.

And it turned out Emily had every reason to be concerned.
As she removed her goggles, she looked in the mirror to see a tattoo of an engagement ring strategically placed around the centre of her belly button.
Alongside the inking read the words: "Will you marry me?"
In absolute horror, she gasped: "Oh my god, Chris. That is awful!"

Getting down on one knee, he then asked: “Have you got an answer?”
After eventually saying “yes,” it was time for the second part of the tattoo to be unveiled.
In a toe-curling scene, Emily unsurprisingly failed to see the funny side when she then read the word “NOT!” in bold, black ink.
Storming out of the room, she uttered: “Thanks Chris. I’m glad you’re smiling!”
In other tattoo news, this woman was so drunk when she got a tattoo for her local rugby team, she spelt it wrong.
