I bought a £270 homeware returns palette and ended up with £1.8k of stuff including THREE beds and a LOT of candles
A WOMAN has revealed how she bagged £1,750 worth of homeware goods for just £270.
Taz, who is known as ClickForTaz by her YouTube subscribers, recently shared the contents of her returns pallet with her followers.
Having recently moved into a new flat, she hoped to bag some bargain interiors from the liquidation warehouse Marthill.co.uk where she picked up a household returns pallet.
“If this goes well I could have possibly saved a lot of money,” she tells her followers.
As she begins unpacking her haul Taz admits suffering from ‘instant regret’ as she pulls out item after item that is cracked or broken.
However, Taz quickly perks up after she digs through several ornate candles and tea light holders, storage boxes and a digital picture frame.
But by far her best items are her automatic inflating air beds of which she bagged three, two doubles and one single one of which was worth £120.
Taz also unwrapped a bin equipped with a sensor for touch-free use at a value of £110.
After dividing up the broken items with those that were working, Taz estimates she has been left with £929.95 worth of items.
She says: “I did a price check on the items so see how much everything cost and to see how much I saved and I was shocked.
“The beds were like hundreds of pounds and the bin was like £110 so those items alone covered the cost for the whole pallet.
“I really think I lucked out – when the pallet first arrived I was so sure that everything was just gonna be broken and smashed.
“This just proves you need to test things out, you can find some good gems, I definitely made my money back and I definitely got quality products at a good price.”
For more pallet profits, this couple paid £18 for a return pallet and came away with £10k worth of goods.
