I went to tattoo artist and asked for Medusa inking – but was left with a total monstrosity
A WOMAN who went to a tattoo artist and asked for a Medusa inking was left reeling after she discovered the final outcome.
Tattoo fans were sympathetic when the dodgy design was re-posted on Reddit.
Shared off a TikTok account, the original user posted a clip featuring a picture of the botched tat displayed on her arm.
She explained that she wanted a delicate design to resemble the famous Greek figure from Mythology – which has since become a popular symbol of survival and strength to sexual assault victims.
But sadly the woman did not end up with what she was expecting.
And to make matters worse, it now covers most of her upper arm.
She captioned the post: "When I went to a s***y tattoo artist and told him I wanted a Medusa and he gave me this".
Users in the comments sections were quick to shame the tattoo artist over his “truly bad” inking skills.

“I'd say this is the work of a trainee practising on a leather sofa,” one wrote.
While another added: “That’s a shocker. S***y tattoo artist delivers a s***y tattoo. Wondering what result he was anticipating?”
On the plus side, others pointed out that it could be easy enough to disguise the tattoo fail with another inking from a different artist.
However, that is not an option for a woman in Germany who revealed she gave up her high-flying corporate job and spent $50k on head-to-toe tattoos to become a real-life cyborg.
Lina L, gave up her job in tech to be become a tattoo artist in San Francisco, California, and wanted to become a "living piece of art" herself.
In 2010, she got her first tattoo and now has more than 50 all over her body - including on her head, face, breasts and butt.
She's even had horns inserted under her facial skin and a silicone ring put on her chest and hopes to split her tongue in half.
She has also had breast implants, nose surgery, piercings, stretched ear lobes and shaved her head bald to give herself a striking new look.
