A picture of the gonk-lined shelves in Home Bargains was shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, with the poster writing: "EASTER GONKS!! Home Bargains for £5.99."

The Easter gonk features the same long beard, alongside some bunny ears, with either pink or pink and blue furry pointed hats.

Fans were quick to comment on the post, with many desperate to get their hands on a gonk for their Easter displays.

"I need an Easter gonk because I didn’t get a Xmas one !!" one person wrote, while another added: "I need these in my life."

"I just bought the blue one I’m in love," a third wrote.

"I got these they are so cute," someone else commented.

Others were less than impressed that the gonks had been recycled for another occasion.

"I like them but not with rabbit ears they look terrifying," one person wrote.

"Oh my days, what a load of junk," someone else commented.

"Okay this is where I draw the line … this is a no from me," a third added.
