I married my husband after dating him for two WEEKS, people say I’m crazy but we’ll get to know each other as we go

AN 18-YEAR-OLD woman has revealed she married her husband after only dating him for TWO weeks - saying people think she’s crazy.

Clara shares videos describing her life with her husband, Trey, and she recently revealed how she met and married her spouse.

Clara said: “We met when I was 15 and Trey was 17. We dated for a little while but then broke up because I had to move two states away for this prep school. 

“I got in a serious relationship for two years but then ended up separating because I realized I still had feelings for Trey.”

Once the pair got in touch again, things moved quickly.

She said: “We reconnected and got eloped (married) after dating for two weeks.”

Commenters were surprised Clara and Trey had got married so quickly, particularly because Clara is only 18.

One wrote: “Married after two weeks? Did you mean to say two years?”

Clara responded: “No, you heard that right. We dated for exactly two weeks before we got married. It was crazy but we’re committed to making it work and figuring it out as we go along.”

The video racked up 419,000 likes and some commenters were shocked at the young couple’s decision to get married.

“Girl you’re gonna regret this so much”, said one concerned viewer, while another wrote: “This is a really bad idea.”

Many, however, were in total support of the relationship.

One supportive commenter wrote: “I’m 100% sure if you both put the same amount of effort into the relationship things will work out no matter what!”

“Power to you! My parents also got married after 2 weeks and have been happily married for 20+ years.”

In other news, this 27-year-old is a mum to a 20-year-old and says she wouldn't change it for the world.

Plus, "I’m a step mum and people hate that I discipline the kids and give them chores – but it works for us".
