THERE'S nothing more frustrating than spending hours cleaning your windows only to still see stubborn bits of black dirt and dust that just won't go away.
The build-up seems particularly impossible to remove if you have slide windows - but a savvy cleaning fan has revealed a simple hack which will ensure all the nooks and crannies are sparkling clean.
If up until now you've been using a sponge, you're on the right way.
But one small adjustment, according to the craft-loving Instagram account, , and your windows will look as good as new.

All you will need is a sponge, a pen or a marker and a craft knife with a sharp blade.
Place the sponge on the window and see which places it can't reach - mark these by drawing a small line, which you then cut into with the blade.
But make sure you don't go in too deep - otherwise the sponge will fall apart.

All that's left to do is spraying some cleaning liquid or soap and wiping away.
You will quickly notice that all the marked cuts make it possible for the sponge to reach the deeper areas.
