Mrs Hinch reveals easy DIY Christmas gift box hack – it costs less than £4 and makes a great gift

IF YOU are looking to save some money this Christmas but still want to give your loved ones beautiful gifts, Mrs Hinch has got you covered.

Mrs Hinch is best known for her cleaning tips and tricks which she shares with her Instagram followers, but this week she has revealed a festive hack that makes the perfect gift.

Sophie Hinchliffe, 31, has a whopping 4.2million Instagram followers, and she often shares her DIY projects with them.

And with the festive season getting closer, Sophie has shown off her latest creative work – and it will cost you less than £4 if you fancy giving it a go.

The mum-of-two decided to decorate some plain brown gift boxes for the Christmas season which can be used for either decoration or to hand out presents in.

So if you’re fed up of handing out Christmas presents in boring gift bags and want something a bit more personal, this is one for you.

And don’t worry if you aren’t the best artist, if you follow Mrs Hinch’s guide, yours will look great too.

Posting to her stories, she showed herself drawing on the boxes with a white chalk pen.

Sophie said: “Good Evening everyone, 10pm and I’m just sitting here with my chalk pen and gift boxes.

“So I bought some cheap gift boxes online and a chalk pen.

“And decided to scribble away and make my own little designs.

“Perfect way to switch off.

“I now have some unique gift boxes for my family and friends.”

In the video we see Sophie drawing gorgeous designs on the box - she drew a village scene with houses and Christmas trees.

Her drawings are simple but look beautiful - it looks so professional you would never know it was a DIY job.
