Where do the Radfords live?

Britain's biggest family of 24, the Radfords, call Lancashire's coastal town of Morecambe their home.

They live in a 10 bedroom former care home which has been renovated to fit the all of the children.

The property's enormous garden boasts an outdoor bar and cinema as well as a £27,000 swimming pool.

Out of their 22 offspring, 19 of the kids still live at home with their parents.

Chris, Sophie, and Millie have moved out but still pop over for local visits, as seen on their Channel 5 series, 22 Kids and Counting.

In addition to their home, Noel and Sue own a £30,000 Range Rover car, a £80,000 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Quarzite and a campervan which retails for £40,000.

Sue and Noel make their money through various ventures, including their family bakery and the TV show.

The couple also make a significant amount of cash through social media, including YouTube where they can command up to £10,000 per sponsored post.

How long have they lived there?

The Radfords have lived in their home since 2004.

Although it is now dubbed the 'millionaire mansion' due to all of the expensive renovations it has had, Sue and Noel only paid £240,000 for the property when they originally bought it.

Despite this, the family started looking for somewhere else to live in 2022, telling fans that they were searching for a plot of land to build their dream family home.

Answering questions in a YouTube video about their housing situation at the time, Noel said: “We are trying our best to find a plot so we can build our own house.

“We have found four so far, three of them have sold and the other one we will find out on Monday if that one sold, so fingers crossed.”

He continued: “We’re only ever going to build this one house so it’s got to be right, we want somewhere that’s got enough land for us.

“We want about an acre so we can build a big-ish house for us all but we also want there to be plenty of space so that the kids can get out and play.”

Sue added: “It’s so hard to find land that’s available and in the right location of where you want it.

“We want the kids to have their own space, it needs to be bigger basically, we’ve grown out of this house.”

In June 2023, the family announced that they had found their dream home and put an offer in.

Noel explained: "We've had an offer accepted on a house. We just absolutely love it, it's just so perfect for us.

"It's the house we've been dreaming of for years and years. It's got a nice big garden all around it and there's plenty of land for what we want. It's a house where we can put our stamp on it."

Sue updated viewers on how the big move was going in a January 2024 episode of 22 Kids and Counting.

She revealed that as neither house was big enough for them, they would split the household into two — with the older kids staying at the original house.

Sue said this would give her eldest children "more independence";.

Did the Radfords move house?

In a shock update from Sue and Noel in April 2024, fans learned that the family were not moving to their new home after all.

When asked if the Radfords would still be relocating, Sue replied: “No we aren’t but it’s all in the series yet to air.”

The family decided instead to renovate once again and have been sharing updates as they give the house a makeover.
