Cleaning fanatic reveals she vacuums her WASHING MACHINE to make sure it’s fluff-free- as others share extreme regimes
REVEALING her top tip for keeping fluff out of her washing machine, one woman explains how she constantly hoovers out the drum.
Natalie Jarrett is far from being the only one who has an extreme regime, as many people have come forward to admit the cleaning habits they have that others would find over the top.
Posting in the Facebook page Natalie asked did anyone else have any 'weird' cleaning habits.
Natalie said the biggest question she received was why she would vacuum the washing machine, and she said she didn't want fluff in the drum to ruin her clean washing.
"Why?? Well from something I had washed the day before it had left a load of fluff in the machine and was so much easier to vacuum out before the next load of washing went in" said Natalie.
Adding: "I don’t vacuum it all the time but just when needed. Please note I still do a regular service wash on my machine."

The woman also said that hoovering the washing machine can indeed be dangerous if it has not dried out properly.
"I do make sure the machine has aired and is dry before vacuuming. No harm came to the washing machine, the hoover, or me whilst making this original post" said Natalie.
The woman also said that she knows this is an extreme way to clean, but after asking others for their own "weird cleaning routines" many people were quick to comment.
One group member commented: "I once put the dog's bed through my washing machine and when it was done the drum was full of dog hair and I hoovered it out then ran a boiling bleach cycle, never did it again lol."
Another said: "I use toothpicks with a baby wipe over to clean in the corners of the architraves of our doors & cupboards etc, can get right in the corners where dust builds up."
Adding: " I also use a blade to scrape off the build-up of limescale around the toilet seat fittings, can’t stand any bits I can’t get to, once every few months I remove the seat & give it a good de-limescale."
"I hoover grass. I clean my skirting boards with fabric softener (which is apparently weird). I use a floor scrubbing brush to clean the door/window frames and I hoover my oven out before cleaning it with a product" commented a third.
