David and Victoria Beckham’s secrets to 22-year marriage revealed – from cheeky pranks to PDA-packed family days out
EVERY marriage has its ups and downs, but David and Victoria Beckham seem stronger than ever.
The power couple, who walked down the aisle 22 years ago, showed just how much fun they still have when Victoria shared a video of them this week making chocolate with their daughter Harper, 10, in Napa, California.
During their sweet talk at the Woodhouse Chocolate shop while creating chocolate masterpieces, the couple got flirty, with Victoria asking her husband: "Daddy what are you making?" to which David replied: "Balls!"
Victoria chuckled: “David's making chocolate balls, not golden - but white chocolate balls! So now you are filling your balls?”
David quipped: "Yeah they're pretty full."
It's the latest in a long line of loved-up social media posts.
Celebrating their latest anniversary in July, the famous couple shared a heartwarming video featuring a montage of clips from their years together.
When Victoria, 47, was quizzed on the secrets of her blissful relationship with David on Good Morning America, she replied: “We’re very supportive of each other.
“He’s an incredible dad. We support each other, and he’s a wonderful husband. We have a lot of fun.”
Although the couple’s marriage has had its ups and downs, including claims by David Beckham’s former PA Rebecca Loos that the two had an affair, Posh and Becks look as devoted to each other now as when they married in 1999. Here we reveal how the couple keep their spark alive and kicking.
Cheeky pranks
The Beckhams clearly have a sense of fun and enjoy playing practical jokes on each other.
Last month Victoria delighted fans by sharing a snap of hubby David as he flashed his bum while lounging in a swimming pool in their Florida pad.
The 46-year-old was shown catching the sun with a snug pair of black shorts pulled down.
It looked like Becks was enjoying a snooze, before he was papped by his wife.
“I think making time for each other, even when you have busy schedules, is what is most important.
“We also both love spending time with the whole family, it’s so rare these days that it makes it all the more special when we are able to get together.”
The Beckhams often spend time in their quiet country retreat in the Cotswolds, with children Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 18, Cruz, 16, and Harper.
This summer, the couple whisked their two youngest kids away to a picturesque holiday in Capri, Italy, with Victoria’s mum and dad Tony and Jackie.
Together the group enjoyed big family meals together and shared snaps of their group sightseeing.
Touching on her family life, Victoria recently told : 'I've always been lucky that I've got a strong family unit, not just with David and the kids but with my parents and David's parents.
“I feel very blessed that I have that. The kids always come first.”
'Embarrassing' PDAs
While the kids come first, Posh and Becks don't shy away from embarrassing their brood with a public display of affection
Victoria recently shared a snap of her smooching her hubby in front of their kids while on a "date night" with the family.
Taken by Harper, Victoria leans in to give David a kiss on the cheek, as the footy star pulls a funny face.
But Cruz and Harper, who joined the family dinner, cringed at the public displays of affection.
Posting on Instagram, David wrote: "Date night in wine country with kids getting slightly embarrassed when asked to take a picture of mum & dad.
"Thanks Harper Seven for the pic and sorry @cruzbeckham for embarrassing you.”
Matching outfits
After 22 years of marriage, the Beckhams still know how to turn heads with their eye-catching outfits.
Famous for stepping out in matching suits, David gave a nod to the couple's in-sync style when they celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary.
As football and pop legends, Posh and Becks infamously wore matching leather suits to a party in 1999.
“People have talked about, you know, “Do we stay together because it’s a brand?” Of course not.
