Prince Harry’s shock statement aged FOUR which stunned mum Princess Diana & eerily predicted the brothers’ Royal rift
THE Royal rift between Princes William and Harry has been rumbling on for some time now.
And now it’s been revealed the younger prince, soon to turn 37, was aware of what his future held from a much younger age.
Former protection officer to the royals Ken Wharfe has recalled a quarrel he heard between the two brothers when they were tiny.
Harry, married to Meghan Markle, made a shocking outburst to William, married to Kate Middleton, when he was just FOUR.
It occurred as the youngsters travelled from London to Gloucester for a weekend away.
"Diana would always take the two boys to Highgrove in Gloucestershire,” he told Channel 5 documentary, Prince Harry: The Troubled Prince.
“On this particular occasion Diana was driving, I was sat in the front, William and Harry in the back,"
"They’d clearly got off to a bad start because they were arguing before we’d even left.

“Harry out of nowhere said: 'William, one day you’ll be king, I won’t, it doesn’t matter therefore I can do what I like'."
Ken recalled being “stunned” by the comment, asking her younger boy where he had got it from.
The two princes last appeared together at the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue in the summer.
But Royal author Omid Scobie says this didn’t mean they had reconciled.
"I think one thing I really wanted to give in this update was a positive update on the family fractures and how they've mended," he said earlier this month.
"Unfortunately, that hasn't really happened.
"I think a lot of that is down to do with the pandemic. None of us have been going anywhere and Harry and Meghan live almost 4,000 miles away.
Referring to Harry and William's united displays at both the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue and the funeral of their grandfather Prince Philip, he said: "Everyone involved has made sure that the focus remains on that and nothing else, so there hasn't really been that opportunity to sit down."
"It's not the time or the place, but."
Meanwhile, in an interview on This Morning - which coincided with the news that Piers Morgan was cleared by Ofcom over comments he made about Meghan Markle - Scobie said the "family fractures" were far from fixed.
"I wish there was a.. you know, we have all experienced family squabbles and so on, but there is always a senior member of the family who clips you round the ear and pulls you all together and says 'talk!'.
"And I haven't heard that from any source connected to the family that there has been someone who has played that role.
"I'm sure if Diana was here today, that's exactly what she would do. But I've certainly not heard that from any of the others."
