Hannah, 20, was messaging a man she met on the dating app for a few weeks before they went on their first date to The Brasserie in Lancaster for dinner.

Speaking to , she explained how, although he seemed like a "nice" person, she wasn't too sure if they'd be meeting again.

However, over their meal, her date started opening up about his heartbreak after his ex-girlfriend passed away, and proceeded to show her pictures of the woman on his phone.

She said: “He was talking about his recently deceased partner who’d died from cancer and how he was struggling post-death. Sympathy was given because, well, that’s a horrible thing to go through.”

Hannah left money on the table to cover her part of the bill and walked out of the restaurant, hearing screaming behind her as she left.
