‘Tacky’ bride slammed for charging guests to come to her wedding – and you’ll have to pay more if you’re single
A BRIDE has been slammed after she admitted to charging guests to attend her wedding - and you’ll pay more if you’re single.
The bride-to-be took to a wedding Facebook group, where she asked other women if they planned to do the same on their own big day.
Posting in the group, she said: “Am I the only one charging guests to come to my wedding, $65 couple, $45 singles.”
Her post has since been shared on where it has provoked outrage from other users.
Commenting on the post, one wrote: “I hope they expect zero gifts in exchange for that golden opportunity.”
Agreeing another joked: “Are there group discounts for families? Do kids under 3 get in for free? 🤣”
“Can anyone buy tickets? 🤣” commented another, while a fourth added, “I guess this person is more concerned about the wedding than about the marriage.”
The photo was shared on the subreddit r/weddingshaming.
The group has almost 200,000 members and is described as a "place to shame wedding themes, brides, grooms, wedding party, in-laws, outlaws, guests, Uncle Bob, vendors... you name it, we shame it!"
