Mrs Hinch reveals sweet reason behind her son’s name as she welcomes her second child
MRS Hinch has revealed the reason behind her newborn son’s name - and her fans agree it’s super cute.
The cleaning influencer, whose real name is Sophie, gave birth yesterday morning at 12.56am to baby Lennie Alan James Hinchcliffe.
Her fans wanted to know why she’d chosen the name, and she explained each element in detail.
The first reason behind her choice of name, she said in an Instagram story, is that it fits in well with her son Ronnie’s name and also the name of her beloved dog Henry.
She explained: “Both me and Jamie loved the fact that Lennie rhymes with Ronnie but also when shortened to Len rhymes with Hen.”
Lennie’s middle names also hold meaning for the Hinches.
“Alan is my dad’s name”, Sophie explained.
And James is Sophie’s husband Jamie’s real name, so it was important to the pair to give both of their sons James as a middle name.
Sophie said: “James: Ronnie’s middle name is also James because Jamie’s name is actually James!
“On his birth certificate he is officially James so we wanted both our boys to have James.”
Fans, who are known collectively as “Hinchers”, absolutely loved Sophie’s choices for her new baby’s name.
“I love that all your names end with the ‘ee’ sound! He’s honestly the prettiest little thing - congratulations”, wrote one fan.
Another commented: “Your dad gonna be in tears. Beautiful name, beautiful baby. We all love him.”
Sophie responded, saying that her dad hadn’t stopped crying since the birth of baby Lennie.
She wrote: “Honestly guys he hasn’t stopped crying, love him. Len also looks like a lot like my Dad I think.”
“I adore his name, he is absolutely perfect soph congratulations”, one commenter added.
