PROFESSOR Chris Whitty is perfect marriage material, say singletons.

The Government’s chief medical officer, famous for his no-nonsense lockdown warnings, was picked out in a snog, marry, avoid poll.

The 55-year-old, who is not married, was No1 husband material in the political figures category.

Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, 50, was top snog, while PM Boris Johnson, 56, was voted the one best avoided.

In the female royal category, Pippa Middleton, 37, was the best for a snog, sister Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, was the one users would marry — and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, 39, won avoid.

Among TV news presenters, former Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan, 56, won snog, his one-time co-anchor Susanna Reid, 50, topped marry, while it was bad news for BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg, 44, as the one to avoid. 

The poll, carried out among UK users of the Happn dating app, also included stars of the hit pandemic TV series Tiger King.

Singles would snog Carole Baskin, 59, marry Joe Exotic’s husband Dillon Passage, 23, but avoid Exotic, 58, himself.
