TABLETS: Tonik Apple Cider Vinegar soft gel capsules are tasteless and gag-free, making them super-easy to take.

They advise to take up to six a day, which was too many for me, so I stuck to three.

After a week’s worth of tablets, I found myself less bloated after meals and with clearer skin.

Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar Sicilian Lemon is naturally fermented, and therefore carbonated gently.

The flavours go well together and are subtle. I had the drink before dinner to aid digestion and found no bloating, even after a heavy meal.

A celeb favourite, Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is unfiltered and comes with proteins, enzymes and friendly ­bacteria.

There are some brown bits in it that look vile, but after two mornings of glugging 25ml to a glass of water my tummy was flatter. My favourite.

A highly concentrated toner to deeply cleanse pores, remove oils and gently exfoliate. Can be used morning and night on clean skin followed by your usual serum or moisturiser.

This tingled and left my T-section a little red, so for me it’s best used just a few times a week.

• The Ordinary, Lactic Acid 10 + HA (£5.80, 30ml, )

A ten per cent lactic acid peel to gently exfoliate, even your skin tone and improve pigmentation.

Used in the evening, I felt a faint tingling sensation, but this particular acid incorporates Tasmanian pepperberry to soothe skin and reduce irritation.

I found this left my skin blemish-free. A five per cent option is also available.
