NOTE OK

Mum distraught after finding vicious note calling her a ‘fat piece of s***’ on her car after parking in a pram-only spot

NOTHING makes our blood boil quite like when someone swoops into a car parking spot we'd been eyeing up - but unfortunately, that's just tough luck.

As the parent and child parking bays are situated right next to the entrance of the shops, the competition for these spots is on a whole new level - as one mum-of-three recently found out.

"You should not park here," the scrap of paper. "You got no pram or baby with you, you fat piece of s***."

Sharing the note on Facebook, the mum explained how she has two baby seats AND two prams in her car - which the person would have easily seen if they'd taken a closer look.

She wrote: "Don’t jump to conclusions if you don’t see me push a pram or hold a baby as I dropped my husband off at the entrance with the kids while I went and found a car spot.

"People are so nasty and quick to judge. I hope whoever wrote this note gets their facts right before they judge anyone."

Although it's not against the law to park in a parent loading space if you don't have a child with you, stores such as Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Lidl and Tesco do issue fines if shoppers are caught breaking the rules.

Parent and child parking bay rules explained

Using one of these bays without kids in the car isn't illegal as they are usually on private land.

But private firms can slap you with a fine if you misuse one.

Car parks are required to clearly display their rules for the use of parent and child spaces, along with the potential penalty if you break them.

Some spots will require you to take kids out of the car with you to be eligible, while others state kids must be using a booster seat if you want to park in one.

You should always read the rules at each car park before leaving your motor in one of these spaces.
