Kate Middleton’s school pal reveals her raunchy Killing Kittens sex party app is like an ‘orgy in your pocket’
KILLING Kittens events are the most famous sex parties in the world, but like many other businesses it has had to adapt this year.
The renowned high-class orgies, full of semi-naked women and couples, have been out of bounds for the past nine months, but the company’s resourceful founder Emma Sayle, who went to school with the Duchess of Cambridge, has moved the raunchy parties online.
In April, Emma introduced Killing Kittens members to Zoom sex parties — or zorgies — and last month she launched the first adult social media network and app, which has been dubbed “an orgy in your pocket”.
Emma received £170,000 from the Government’s Future Fund, a scheme that provides loans to UK companies hit by the pandemic, and that helped her to launch the tech.
As Killing Kittens celebrates its 15th anniversary, Emma, 42, says: “People may think, ‘Why are the Government giving money to a company which throws sex parties’, but take the word ‘sex’ out and we are an events business.
“We’ve created a safe community. People need an escape during lockdown and our online parties have been a release.
“They start like our real-life parties, with sexy performances from burlesque dancers and then as the night goes on, people can either spectate or get involved in a virtual orgy. Over 100 members can be involved online.”
Killing Kittens is estimated to be worth £15million and 60 per cent of revenue now comes from online events and sex education workshops — an app was the next logical step.
Members can connect virtually and securely and access naughty chat rooms where they can exchange pictures, saucy videos and join virtual orgies.
Since its launch a couple of weeks ago, over 80,000 Killing Kittens members have downloaded it.
“Think Bumble meets Facebook,” says Emma. “There’s no other app around where people can have live video chats and everyone is vetted.”
It was after a few bad experiences, and not being comfortable with her own body, that 6ft Emma set up Killing Kittens in 2005 at the age of 27.
“I loathed how I looked back in my twenties and would only have sex with the lights off,” says Emma.
“Eating disorders and body hang-ups plagued me, mentally and physically.
“I didn’t grow up thinking, ‘I want to throw orgies’. It was a gradual build-up where I wanted to create a fairer world for women.
“Men could go out and have a one-night stand and they’d get a high five but if women did it they were slut-shamed.
“At uni I remember girls would do everything — oral sex, the works — bar sex. They feared that if they put out too soon a guy wouldn’t want to date them and sadly it was true. The imbalance drove me crazy and after dating several arses myself I knew I had to do something to balance out the playing field.”
But when Emma decided she was going to launch female-friendly sex parties, it was not easy for a boarding school girl who had rubbed shoulders with Kate Middleton.
She recalls: “When people knew I was serious some friends were disgusted and didn’t hang out with me any more.
“My dad was furious and smashed his computer.
“They didn’t understand it and thought I wanted to go out and have lots of sex with everyone, but it was never about me. It was always about liberating women.
SEXUAL BUZZ
“There was a sexual buzz back then — Sex And The City was on and women were craving change.
“I was already working in PR organising elite sex parties but they were all aimed at men. I couldn’t even get a business loan at first.”
But despite the naysayers, Emma’s company now holds sex parties around the world — Sydney, New York and in Europe. The average age of a woman at a party is 32 or 33 and they are mostly high-flyers.
Emma says: “We have celebrities, politicians, lawyers, doctors and a lot of top journalists, too.
“I’ve seen everything. One time I walked into a room and saw three top London fashion models having sex. It was quite the view.” Just as Emma’s business has grown, so has her own confidence.
“Ironically, now I’m older and a mother of three I love my body and love being nude,” she says.
“I recently stripped for a boudoir shoot for me but decided to use it as an anniversary present for my husband afterwards. We posted the pics on KK’s social media for our 15th birthday. KK now asks real members to bare all for our campaigns so I wanted to lead by example. Be proud of your bodies.”
Next, Emma would like to go into secondary schools to instil confidence in girls about their own figures.
“Women shouldn’t feel ashamed to talk about sex and boys need to learn about consent and what women want. It needs to start at a young age,” says Emma.
“We need to stop making girls feel ashamed about their body parts and sex.
“Sex education is all aimed at men’s pleasure. Girls need to know sex is enjoyable with the right person, not something to be afraid of.”
The new Killing Kittens app only lets members sign up, and everyone who joins must submit several photos to confirm who they are.
They must also state the reasons that they want to join, sign non- disclosure agreements and follow strict rules for the Zoom events.
Among these are that single men have to be invited by other Kitten members, women make the first move, no screenshots are allowed, device cameras must be kept on at all times and masks must be worn when joining the event, but can be removed later.
Below, a married couple and a single woman share their experiences of using the app.
‘We’re getting sex tips from other couples’
JOANNES, 40, a financial adviser, and Sofie, a waitress, from London, credit the app for bringing a spark back in the bedroom.
Sofie, 29, says: "Our marriage was tired. We have two kids and were both furloughed so it’s been tough. We started to lose the sexual side to our relationship.
"My husband suggested joining and initially I really wasn’t sure – but now I’m more into it than him. Seeing one another interacting with others sexually – especially other couples – has helped us get our mojo back.
"We also get tips from other couples and have tried new things in the bedroom we would never have dreamed of trying before.
"The app allows you to join different chat rooms. For instance, if you’re new and want to dip your toes in, you’ll start off in the “Kurious” chat room and build up to the “Filth” chat rooms – where anything goes.
"Kurious was nice as everyone was a bit nervous and it was a good way to break the ice.
"Now we are part of the Couples group and things get much sexier there with couples breaking out for orgies.
"Users get naked and wear sexy lingerie."
'It can get very filthy'
SINGLE woman Paula, 36, is bi-curious. The executive assistant from St Albans, Herts, believes the app has boosted her confidence.
She says: "I am a member of the Kitten Play group which is for lesbians and the naughtier version of Kittens Chat.
"Users play with sex toys – my top drawer has doubled since becoming a member.
"It’s like being with a great group of friends, ones you can chat to about orgasms, the best sex toys and masturbation techniques.
"We have such a laugh exchanging our funny, and sometimes cringeworthy, sexcapades.
"To have other women around me who share the same sexual desires as me, who understand me and don’t judge me is empowering."
Paula also likes men so has joined the “hardcore” group Filth which is a mixture of guys and girls, couples and singles.

She says: “It can get extremely filthy, making it hard to concentrate on work. There is lots of sex chat, pictures and video clips, which is a huge turn-on.
