LIFE isn’t easy and certainly not cheap when you have 22 kids and are Britain’s Biggest family. 

Sue, 45, and Noel, 49, Radford, have revealed that they do charge their older kids board if they stay in the family’s 10-bed former care home in Lancashire.

Speaking on their, Sue, Noel, and two of their daughters, Millie, 19, and Chloe, 25, did a video on fans’ biggest assumptions.

One of the things Chloe had received from a viewer was that “you want to stay at home so you don’t have to pay rent.”

Chloe said: “Us older ones do pay a little bit of board. Granted it’s not a lot but I’m also trying to save up for my own house at the moment.”

Sue added: “We’ve always said if you want to buy somewhere, renting is a bit of dead money, so we’d rather you saved that money up and stayed at home a bit longer.

“I also do believe they should pay board if they are earning. We’ve always been brought up by our parents that we had to pay board.” 

Chloe added: “We’ve never moaned about it, it’s not a lot.”

Sue said: “It’s more the principle of the thing.”

Currently she lives at home with most of her siblings - apart from the eldest two who have moved out and now have kids of their own. 

The Radford kids are Chris, 31, Sophie, 26, Chloe, 25, Jack, 23, Daniel, 21, Luke, 20, Millie, 19, Katie, 17, James, 17, Ellie, 15, Aimee, 14, Josh, 13, Max, 11, Tillie, 10, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, five, Phoebe, four, Archie, three, Bonnie, two, and Heidie who was born in April. 

Sadly the couple's 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.

Also in the video, the family addressed claims they are “rich”, and insist they are not.

Sue said: “Absolutely not, we are definitely not super millionaires.”

Noel added: “Sadly not. We are kid rich, money poor.” 

Noel is the breadwinner of the family, supporting his bumper brood with his pie business.

Sue and Noel also said that they are definitely not having any more children, with their 22nd child born during the first lockdown earlier this year.

Sue said: “We’ve both decided that we don’t want any more children. Before, one of has wanted one and the other one maybe thought they were finished, but this time we are definitely done.”

Noel said: “There will be no more little Radfords, not from us anyway.”

The family has just grown even larger, as Millie has just given birth to her first child Ophelia, meaning Sue and Noel now have six grandkids. 

Speaking of the father of her first child, Millie said: “I’m not saying who he is because he is completely out of our lives. 

“He’s in a new relationship. We haven’t had anything to do with each other for months, pretty much the beginning of the pregnancy.

“He wasn’t ready to be a dad, he won’t ever be named.”

In other Radford news, the couple recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary by buying a holiday home.
