MICHELLE Keegan has unveiled a gorgeous “contoured” hair transformation that she got done before lockdown.
The Our Girl star, 33, now has rich, chocolatey lengths, with some face-framing highlights around her face.

Her hair colourist, , shared a video of Michelle’s beautiful new colour, and described the look as “hair contouring.”
But what is that exactly?
say the process is similar to the idea of make-up contouring.
They described the hair version as one that “uses a combination of free hand application and highlighting, paired with the careful positioning of different tones and depths around the face to highlight and shadow targeted areas.”

Darker shades are used to create shadows, and this can help to narrow a face shape.
Meanwhile, lighter tones have the opposite effect and can lengthen or elongate the face by reflecting light.
Many people were quick to praise Michelle’s new style on Instagram, with one writing: “I want hair like this!”
WHAT IS HAIR CONTOURING?
According to, hair contouring is "inspired by the make-up trend, and is a custom-made colour application technique that has revolutionised the use of hair colour and what it can achieve.
"This innovative technique uses the careful placement of colours around the face and, thanks to a play of light and shadow, can alter the appearance of your face shape by accentuating your best features and enhancing your natural skin tone without the application of make-up.
