HOME enthusiasts often find themselves lusting after giant mirrors, which not only make small spaces look bigger, but make a stunning feature too.
But the sought after look does come with a hefty price tag, which is why one DIY fan chose to make one himself - and it was pretty cheap to do.
To get the window-style framing he was after, Ryan Hassan decided to used black photo frames which he picked up at Ikea for just £4 each.
He also used £1 single mirror inserts from the Swedish furniture store, which have proven popular in the past for those tackling their own mirror project.
Posting in the Facebook group, Ryan explained that he screwed the frames together and made a backing out of MDF - and the whole thing cost just £120.
The finished look is nothing short of amazing, with the huge free-standing mirror matching even the most luxurious versions in store.
Captioning the snaps, Ryan wrote: "Wanted the Ikea hack mirror, but wanted it huge and free standing!"
And later added: "Ikea photo frames, and mirror inserts, screwed together and braced up behind with mdf. Frames £4, mirror inserts £1, total for this huge one £120."
The DIY fan regularly shares his projects in the group, as well as on where he posts dreamy home interior snaps.
Needless to say, the DIY mirror design went down a treat with other Facebook users who were blown away by the incredible result.
"Your posts are my absolute favourite! I literally love everything you’ve posted and this is the exact reason I joined this page. I’m gonna start hitting you up for ideas soon!" one fan wrote.
And another shared: "This is on my list of things to make!! I love how you have done it and seems like it could be less faffing than making the whole frame from wood!!!"
While another gushed: "I just want your home now"
Many others dubbed the design "amazing" "impressive" and "brilliant", while many tagged friends and family suggesting they check it out.
