HALLOWEEN is just around the corner and people are already getting into the spooky spirit by making some homemade decorations.

Instead of getting rid of old jumpers and socks, crafty people have been turning them into adorable pumpkins - and even Stacey Solomon has jumped on the trend.

The sweet pumpkins are extremely easy to make, and you’ll only need a few items to make an autumnal display for your home.

Loose Women host Stacey, 30, gave a step-by-step guide to turning old socks from her three sons into cute dinky pumpkins.

On her Instagram, she shared how you need to cut the sock under the heel so just the tip remains, and then stuff it with rice or old tights.

Then you tie the sock shut and sow a string through the middle, pulling it tight around eight sections.

Finally Stacey added a gold-sprayed leaf to the top and her adorable pumpkin was complete.

People have been taking to social media to share how they have also made larger ones using old jumpers.

To create your own, all you need to do is cut the jumper under the arm section, so just the bottom section remains.

Then bunch the bottom hole together and fasten together with an elastic band.

Turn the jumper inside out so the tie is inside, and then stuff your jumper full of fluff and then secure the top with another elastic band.

Use string and wrap it around your ball to make the pumpkin ridges.

Add a stalk and a leaf using a heavy-duty glue and your Halloween decoration should be complete.
