WE ALL love a good bargain, but if there's anyone who loves to save on household goods more than us it's thrifty mum-of-three Stacey Solomon.
The TV star, 30, regularly shares savvy DIY tips and tricks online, providing her 3.7 million followers with endless home inspo.
Her latest project saw her completely transform an ordinary mud kitchen she bought for her one-year-old son Rex in an attempt to save on more expensive versions.
Stacey revealed on her stories that she bought the kids' outdoor kitchen online many months ago, and as much as she wanted a personalised one for her adorable tot - who she shares with her partner Joe Swash - they do come with a hefty price tag.
Showing off the £59 play kitchen, she wrote: "I love mud kitchens! The personalised ones can be quite expensive so I bought a plain one and I'm going to try and jazz it up myself."
Armed with some art supplies and a tool box, the crafty mum did just that and it cost her next to nothing to do.
She used a can of white spray paint she already had and a cool shade of light blue paint to spruce up various areas on the wooden frame.
She even added a couple of her beloved Ikea fejikas along the top of the frame, and added a couple of stainless steel measuring cups admitting they're "Rex's favourite thing to play with in our kitchen."
With just a few simple changes, the otherwise ordinary wooden kitchen now features a brighter colour palette and even has Rex's name plastered across the front - and it looks just as good as versions three times the price.
Proud of her handiwork, Stacey said: "I love it so much," but admitted "when you get close you'll see it's not perfect"
The cheap and incredibly easy project is seriously impressive and simple enough for even the most amateur DIY-ers - and it's the perfect way to give your kids something special without the added cost.
The makeover got the tick of approval form baby Rex too, as Stacey later posted a photo of the young tot "cooking up a storm" in his new outdoor kitchen.
Alongside the snap which featured Rex donning a toothy grin, she wrote: "Cooking up a storm. I just had to post this picture, it melts my heart… we are still all sitting in the garden enjoying watching Rex play with his little mud kitchen.
"I’m so proud of it… I know I only painted it, added a few Fejkas and stuck bits to it and it’s not perfect but I really do love it… It just makes me feel like I was a part of creating something special, that the boys will really enjoy.
"Plus I saved loads by doing it that way which also brings me joy. I have managed to do absolutely nothing else today, if I’m honest, I can’t remember if I even brushed my teeth.
"But I’m just so glad I finally took this out of the box and put it up because watching all of the boys playing with it now is the best feeling in the world… "
During lockdown, Stacey used the time to spruce up her home with hand-made items created using "junk".
From garden herb racks to stationary holders for her kids, there appears to be no end to Stacey’s talents.
She usually shares her incredible craft projects on her Instagram to her 3.7million followers.
