WANT to create the illusion of a smaller waist?
Smart celebs are championing the ultimate hack in eye-catching style.
And the good news? It doesn’t involve Kardashian-style waist trainers or corsets.
TV’s Maya Jama, Little Mix star Jesy Nelson and Love Islander Maura Higgins are among those teaming oversized baggy jeans with tummy-skimming crop-tops — a crafty combo that accentuates a slender waistline.
Going up a size or borrowing your fella’s jeans certainly sounds comfier than squeezing into a pair of skinnies.
Megan McKenna, 27, shared a snap in August to promote her In The Style collection and her blue denim jeans were definitely a loose fit.
The former Towie star teamed them with a cute white crop top which showed off her toned midriff perfectly.
And Megan is definitely not alone in opting for a bigger size when it comes to her denim chaps!
Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague jetted off to Italy this week and made sure she had her blue jeans packed in her suitcase.
Posing in front of Milan's picturesque Duomo, the pretty blonde appeared to be holding up her jeans which she teamed with a tight white crop top.
Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry pulled a very similar pose on her Instagram Story recently and even had a black belt on to help hold up her pale blue pair.
The 29-year-old pop star teamed them with a loose-fitting nude crop top, which allowed her to flaunt her washboard stomach.
Mark Wright's sister Natalya Wright is also a fan of showing off her waist on social media and opted for a pair of Topshop denim jeans when she shared a snap a few months ago.
It's unsure where Kylie Jenner purchases her jeans from, but the reality TV star is no stranger to opting for a bigger size and pairing them with a sexy top to highlight her killer bod.

The real-life test
MODEL and photographer Jess Greaves, who wears a size 12, tried on some boyfriend jeans for size.
Jess, 26, from South London, says: “I’ve never found skinny jeans that flatter my shape – even more so after months living in lounge-wear and eating loads in lockdown.
“The super-hugging fit emphasises everything, leaving no room to hide any body woes.
"I much prefer a baggier fit. They skim over your legs and bum while making your waist look smaller.
“They are much easier to get on too! You don’t have to fight your way into each leg and tug them over your tights.

Jean-ius tips
- Rips will stop you feeling too frumpy in big, baggy jeans
- Darker colours or panelling at the sides are slimming
- A gap between top and jeans makes your waist look narrower, whatever your size
- Straight-leg and narrow-leg styles hug your bum and thighs, creating the illusion of fuller curves
- Styles with a slightly lower waist give the impression of wider hips
