You can now make a kid-friendly version of Cards Against Humanity at home for free – and mums are loving it
CARDS Against Humanity is the grown-up 'fill in the blanks' game famous for its offensive, cringe-worthy and rude jokes.
The game certainly isn't one you'd want to play in front of children, which is why it comes with an 18+ rating.
Now, families can experience a slice of the action after the game's manufacturers created a kid-friendly version of the game - and you can get it for free online.
The Cards Against Humanity Family Edition is exactly the same as the X-rated version, but it's designed for kids and adults to play together.
Families who have already road-tested the game have given it the thumbs up on the Facebook page .
One woman wrote: "My sister printed this off, laminated it and sent it to me through the post during lockdown as a suprise. My kids 8 and 10) absolutely love it! "
The website says: "Our plan was to surprise everyone with this in the fall, but we know a lot of families need something to do right now.
"So today we’re posting a public beta of Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition for free, so you can print it at home and play it right now with your bored family. We’ll figure out how to make money on it later."
Instead of cards relating to sex, offensive stereotypes and morbid humour, the family-friendly game is heavy on the toilet humour.
The Cards Against Humanity Family Edition is recommended for children aged eight and over, while the minds behind the game have urged parents to look through the cards before playing with children to make sure they are all suitable.
