Budget
- Axiology Balmies, £12 from axiologybeauty.com -
Multi-purpose crayon for eyes, lips and cheeks.
The crayon seems tiny but is the same size as a standard lipstick without all the unnecessary plastic and outer packaging.
Formulated with the antioxidants hemp, elderberry and plum oils to hydrate and heal the skin as a balm would.
I used the clementine shade for my cheeks and preferred it to my powder blush. The carry case is fully recyclable too.
Mid-range
- Benefit LoveTint, £15.50 from escentual.com -
A long-lasting, vibrant red lip and cheek stain.
The bright colour means only a very small amount is needed on the cheeks but lip colour can be tailored to a light tint or increase the layers for a deeper colour.
Dries quickly and I found it totally smudge-proof.
Meant to suit all skin tones and I loved it as a lipstick . . . but it didn’t suit me as a blush.
