AS the memory of lockdown fades, and the hair dressers have reopened, more of us are choosing to continue self care at home.
Shopping and beauty habits have changed, with more of us continuing an at home approach.
Data provided by ‘buy now, pay later’ service, , shows that UK consumers have fully embraced self care during lockdown.
And even as salons have re-opened, at-home beauty kits and spa products sales have continued to soar, as we all continue our DIY beauty at home.
With the average wax costs between £30 and £50, and facials costing from £40 - it looks many shoppers may make the switch to at home permanently for more affordable at home options.
Unsurprisingly, sales of hair care products over lock down were high, with the Philips and Braun IPL Hair Removal Device proving to be the top selling electronic device, and sales of hair dye up 6.5 times.
Teeth whitening sales also soared by a 180 per cent as we looked to achieve a winning smile on video calls.
Skincare was also huge, with two of The Ordinary's products in the top five and premium skincare sales doubling vs January - March - with purchases suggesting that consumers may move to ongoing home spa treatments and luxury products that last vs one off treats.
