A SHOPPER has hit out at PrettyLittleThing claiming she needs medical attention after suffering ‘burns’ caused by one of their tops.
Adara Graham, from Cleethorpes, bought a zebra-print top for £15 from the e-tailer, which featured metal hoops on the front.
But the 19-year-old claims she developed painful blisters on her chest from wearing the blouse, after the hoops rusted and burned her skin.
Adara fears she now needs medical treatment as she warned other shoppers to steer clear of clothes with metal on them.
She shared shocking snaps of her horrific injuries to , where her post has since gone viral racking up more than 28,000 retweets.
Adara wrote: “Anyone buying from PLT, please be wary of buying tops with metal loops on them.
“This was my first time wearing it, and the metal loops look as if they have gone rusty and burnt through my skin causing my chest to blister and be in a lot of pain.
“Now having to seek medical attention PLT, looking like it’s gonna become infected.”
It’s not clear what metal is used in the animal-print blouse, although the website does : “Due to fabric used, colour may transfer.”
Thousands of people have commented on Adara’s post, in shock over her wounds.
One person said: “Omg wtf hope it’s gets better ASAP and you get your money cause this is awful.”
Another commented: “Also, I hope ur okay!! I can’t imagine the pain, sudocrem helps with the pain and that short time until you can get something prescribed.”
A third wrote: “This is why all metal components on garments should be tested, nickel free and non-corrosive.”
“Would not like to be in their shoes right now. Hope you’re okay!”
Others thought she may be allergic to the metal, with this person suggesting: “I think you had a severe allergic reaction to Nickel. Maybe ask your doctor about it?”
Although another shopper claimed they had the same top but didn’t experience any burns, saying: “I have this same top and I didnt wear a bra.. mine was fine.
“Plt are s**t quality so this is literally the only thing I own from them. It could be a reaction.”
PrettyLittleThing responded multiple times to Adara’s Twitter post, asking her to get in touch.
