Mum uses a fresh lemon to clean her entire oven and she’s seriously impressed with the results

CLEANING an oven is a tough job which normally takes a few hours depending on how filthy it is, and it usually takes an arsenal of cleaning products as well. 

But a mum decided to use ditch chemicals and use a fresh lemon to clean her entire oven - and she can’t believe the results.

So if your cooker needs a good scrub but you don’t have time to go to the shops, if you’ve some citrus fruit handy you can get cracking. 

Sharing snaps of her efforts to Facebook , she wrote: “Using only fresh lemon, I'm impressed. I cleaned my entire oven with it.”

Explaining how she she got it to shine, she said she applied the lemon juice - and the pulp - across all surfaces of the oven. 

The cleaning fan then let it sit for 25 minutes, before rubbing it down with a damp cloth to remove grease and food residue.

Her post racked up dozens of likes, as people vowed to try the natural cleaning product for themselves. 

Commenting online, one person said: “Oh great! I will try this!! Thank you for sharing.”
