WHEN the time comes to move out of home, most young adults fear that their mums and dads will turn their childhood room into a gym - or worse, a dumping ground for all their household junk.

But for mum-of-three Jackie Brown, her daughters moving out of the house meant she could finally build the walk-in wardrobe of her dreams.

Sharing the incredible photos of the revamped room on the , Jackie explained how she now shares the walk-in wardrobe - which is mostly grey with trendy pops of pink - with her youngest daughter.

She wrote: "Had an empty spare room when our two eldest daughters moved out and always wanted a dressing room so now share this with my 21 year daughter."

Complete with a marble-effect dressing table, floor-length flower mirror and a jewellery station, the walk-in wardrobe looks like something straight out of the pages of an interiors magazine.

To keep the costs down, the mother and daughter upcycled furniture they already had and bought basics from IKEA which they personalised to fit the room.

She added: "All the furniture was second hand or upcycled, the flower mirror was an old mirror wardrobe door and the dressing table mirror was off another old wardrobe with attached lights.

"Only things we bought were the IKEA shelves and accessories."

As well as lining the ceiling with fairy lights, the stylish pair also put their handbags and heels on display - along with some pristine Pandora shopping bags.

Open closet space and chests of drawers line the room and behind the dressing table is a whole section devoted to shoes and seasonal clothing packed away in boxes.

Unsurprisingly, other members of the group were blown away by the level of detail in the room and Jackie's post has racked up over 2,000 "likes".

"That is glorious," one gushed. "This is the dream!"

Another added: "That looks amazing and well done you for making use of perfectly good stuff rather than buying new."

"It's beautiful," a third wrote. "Love all of it."
