Savvy shoppers share their massive make-up hauls as Sainsbury’s slashes prices of Rimmel and MaxFactor to just £1.50

NOW that the lockdown restrictions are beginning to ease in the UK, we've found ourselves reaching for our make-up bags for the first time in MONTHS.

And if you fancy getting yourself back into the swing of things with some new make-up, then Sainsbury's is the place to go.

As part of their summer clearance sales, the supermarket has slashed the price of Rimmel and MaxFactor make-up to just £1.50.

Posting on the Facebook group , one shopper revealed that Rimmel's Lasting Radiance foundation - which would normally set you back a tenner - had been reduced to a fraction of the price.

Alerting the group's thousands of members to the savings, she wrote: "Sainsbury's, down to £1.50!"

Sharing a photo of her epic haul, another thrifty shopper revealed how she'd bagged five foundations (which would normally cost £10 each), four mascaras, three eyeliners, two powders AND a primer all for just £22.50. Mind = blown.

What's more, a third bargain-hunter shared her impressive Max Factor haul in the group too.

Having bagged a loose powder, eyeshadow palette and highlighter in the sale, she added: "Sainsbury’s had these in the sale £1.50 each - should have been a total of £35!"

But before we all go rushing to make an order online, these bargain prices appear to only be in selected stores.
