With "asos what were u thinking" written in the page's bio, it seems shoppers are completely baffled by the "skimpy" bikini with many mocking the unique design.
The account holder shared a snap of the awkward swimwear design and hilariously wrote: “Public service announcement: face masks do not work below the nose.”
Followers of the page were amused by the post which has racked up almost 1.5k likes and dozens of comments poking fun at the "Covid friendly" bikini.
One person responded: “CRYING at the caption. Also looks like a pair of curtains on like a narrowboat or something.”
Another said: “Boob curtains,” while a third questioned, "Why am I crying at this?"
Meanwhile a fourth joked: “Pandemic chic," and many others pointed out that the bikini looks like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
An Instagram user laughed: “When you’re planning a nipple slip because it’s spring break.”
And another agreed: “Recipe for disaster after a few woo woos.”
But despite the bikini being mocked online, the item has completely sold out on the ASOS website - so it seems it has won over an army of fans after all.
I mean, it IS a pretty cute design.
Meanwhile, ASOS shoppers have shared their online shopping fails including a stunned student nurse who claims an ‘oversized’ ASOS dress left her looking like ‘one of Jesus’s 12 disciples’.
