Shoppers rave about Aldi’s £2.99 candles and reckon they smell BETTER than the Yankee versions
SHOPPERS are raving about Aldi’s candles claiming their budget range smells even better than their pricey rivals Yankee Candle.
The supermarket is selling jar candles for just £2.99, which come in a range of scents including coconut noir, summer sands, black cherry and amalfi lemons.

In comparison a jar of black cherry from Yankee Candle costs £23.99.
Fans of Aldi claim their candles smell even better than Yankee’s, so they’re sticking with the supermarket’s version from now on.
One shopper shared their find to Facebook group , praising the range.
She said: “Highly recommend these from Aldi’s! £2.99 they smell just as good as Yankee candles! I’m amazed.”
Hundreds of people have liked the post, agreeing the fragrance is better than Yankee Candle - with black cherry emerging as a firm favourite.
One person said: “I’ve had the black cherry one, smells better than Yankee !!! Will get you one next time I go.”
Another wrote: “We’ve got black cherry one and can smell it all over our house. Can never smell Yankee candles upstairs.”
A third raved: “I bought the coconut noir and lemon last light they are amazing!!!! I’ll never buy Yankee candles again.”
