Woman scores £9 grey velvet cushion from B&M for just 50p – and it’s perfect for your Mrs Hinich-inspired home
GREY interiors have been all the rage for some time now with design enthusiasts opting for the one-shade colour palette to deck out their homes.
The on-trend colour even has Mrs Hinch and other celebs jumping on board with many trying to replicate the star's exact look.
An eagle-eyed shopper has bagged the bargain of a lifetime after snapping up a grey velvet cushion from B&M for just 50p.
The cushion was originally priced at £9 so she couldn't believe her eyes - or the receipt - when she was charged the ridiculously small amount at her local store.
The best part is that it's almost identical to cushions that are scattered around Mrs Hinch's house, so you too can have an immaculately styled home.
The thrifty shopper shared her bargain, and the receipt, to Facebook group where hundreds of people have thanked her for giving them the heads up.
Many shoppers were eager to dash out to thier nearest store to bag one themselves, but others shared their disappoint saying their local store has already sold out entirely.
"Absolute bargain well done you," one B&M shopper said.
While another wrote: "Whattt I paid over £50 for 6."
Regular shoppers claim that the trick is to scan items on your phone using the B&M app before heading to the cash register as some are priced incorrectly.
If, when you scan an item, the price is cheaper that advertised, the store will most likely give it to you for the discounted price shown.
"I went to my local B&M store and scanned like a mad woman," one woman said.
And after one woman questioned if all stores at the bargain cushions, another replied saying: "They should be because on the app they say 50p. If you scan them on the app and they come up as 50p but don’t at the checkout show them the app."
